3D Realms is a computer game developer based in Garland, Texas and founded in July of 1994 by Apogee Games. The company is best known for creating the computer game Duke Nukem 3D which was published by Apogee Games in January, 1996. It is now semi-notorious for its upcoming fourth installment in the Duke Nukem series, Duke Nukem Forever, which is currently 6 years into development and has missed numerous release dates.
