Ærøskøbing is a municipality in central Denmark, in the county of Funen. The municipality covers an area of 74 km², and has a total population of 3,937. It is the greater part of the island of Ærø, the smaller part being Marstal.
Ærøskøbing recently held elections for the unification of Ærøskøbing with Marstal municipality, which were successful. Elections for a common council of the municipality of Ærø are scheduled to be held in the spring of 2004.
