Akkineni Nageswara Rao

Akkineni Nageswara Rao, known as ANR for short, is a movie star from Andhra Pradesh. He was always the runner-up behind NT Rama Rao. He is known for his heart-wrenching performance in Devdas.

Nageswara Rao was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, 1991, for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema.
