Andres Bonifacio

Andres Bonifacio (November 30, 1863 - May 10, 1897) was a leader in the revolution of the Philippines against Spanish colonial rule, the first revolution in Asia against European colonial rule. He founded the Katipunan, a revolutionary secret society, in 1892, which would later become the core of the Revolutionary Philippine Army.
