Ark

The term Ark, derived from arca the Latin word for "chest", and generally synonymous with "refuge", is traditionally used to refer to one of:

• Noah's Ark
• Any other similar large ship, see ark (ship)
• the ark of bulrushes in which the infant Moses was said to have been laid
• The Ark of the Covenant
• Interstellar ark
• At least two different rock bands
