The Banat Krajina was a section of the Austro-Hungarian Military Border (Krajina) located in the Banat (now split between Serbia and Montenegro and Romania).
The Banat Krajina comprised the Petrovaradin Regiment which was further subdivised into Serbian, ethnic German (Volksdeutscher) and Romanian sections.
