Basil Brooke (1888-1973) was an Irish politician; the highest office he held was that of Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, after serving in the military and as Minister of Agriculture. He made several incendiary quotes about Roman Catholics. He was a member of the Ulster Unionist Party.
