Battle of Auray

The Battle of Auray took place on September 29, 1364 at the French town of Auray. It was a part of the 100 Years War and saw the English beat the French. The central aim of the battle was to settle the Succession War, determining who would gain control of the duchy of Brittany, a region in northwestern France.
