Beachcomber was a nom de plume used by surrealist humorous columnists D. B. Wyndham-Lewis and John Bingham Morton. "By the Way", written by Wyndham-Lewis and then by Morton, ran in the Daily Express for over 50 years. The column was revived in the early 1990s and continues today.
