Beleg is a fictional character from J. R. R. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth.
Beleg was a Sindarin Elf who served in the army of King Thingol of Doriath. He was a good friend of Túrin Turambar, and followed him into exile until he was killed by his friend accident.
His name meant 'might', and he wielded a strong bow named Belthronding.
A later Beleg was Beleg of Arnor.
