The Bentley Arnage is a car produced by Bentley in the United Kingdom beginning in late 1998 and still in production as of early 2004.
Production on this vast (two tonnes)car began in late 1998 and has gone through various alterations but has basically remained the same. Powered by a massisve 6.75 litre pushrod V8 engine that was brought back into production for this car (which was orignally made in the 1960s). Inatinally powered by one turbocharger but now there is two smaller turbos still producing 400bhp (298.3kW) in standard form, and in the Arnage T 450bhp (336kW) this coupled with the massive torque of 616 lb ft (835Nm) for the 'standard' Arnage R and 645 lb ft (875Nm) for the Arnage T! Both cars getting to 60mph in 5.9 secs and 5.5 respectivly. Which shows the engines truly amazing power and torque. This model was joined in late 2003 by a brand new Bentley coupe called the Continental GT, on sale for approx £110,000, with a 6.0 litre engine producing 553 bhp and 479 lb ft of torque from its twin turbocharged engine getting to 60mph in 4.7secs!
