An outstanding Canadian poet, Bernell MacDonald was born in PEI in 1950 and now lives on a farm in Roslin, Ontario. He was associated with Alden Nowlan, Raymond Fraser, LeRoy Johnson, Al Pittman, Louis Cormier and others in publishing the literary magazine Intercourse in the 1960s.
