Better than Chocolate is a 1999 Canadian romance/comedy movie about Maggie (Karyn Dwyer) and Kim (Christina Cox), two young girls from Vancouver, British Columbia, who fall in love and move in together, but soon after, Maggie's recently divorced Mother (Wendy Crewson), who doesn't know her daughter is a lesbian, slowly begins to suspect the truth.
The movie was ranked 31st on the Hollywood Reporter's Top 200 independent films list of 1999. It is one of Canada's highest grossing films of all time.
