Bijmermeer disaster

The Bijmermeer disaster occurred on October 4, 1992, when a Boeing 747 cargo plane of the Israeli El Al airline crashed on the flats Groeneveen and Klein-Kruitberg in Bijmermeer, a district of the Dutch capital Amsterdam. This disaster took the lives of 43 persons.
