From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Bill Mensch is the inventor of the 65C02, 65C802, and 65C816 derivatives of the famous 6502 microprocessor, and head of the Western Design Center.
He is sometimes seen as egotistical, for having reserved the opcode "WDM" (short for William D. Mensch) for all future Western Design Center products.
