Blade Runner (videogame)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
A Westwood Studios PC game loosely based on the same named 1980's movie. Released in 1997, the game was advertised
as a first "real time adventure game". The story featured policeman Ray McCoy searching for human-impersonating replicants in futuristic Los Angeles. Whereas it was generally agreed that graphics and sound succeeded in adapting cult film's haunting atmosphere, the designers' attempt at innovating gameplay (such as simplyfying interface, adding action elements, replacing traditional inventory with a database of clues, randomization of some events and multiple endings) were given mixed reviews.
