Boxer John Kraynack, born December 15, 1894 in Plymouth, PA, changed his name to Bob "KO" Sweeney because he thought the Irish-sounding name would result in a bigger draw for his fights. He is perhaps best known for his bout against Bob Fitzsimmons, for it is considered to be the first bout ever captured on film.
He died June 14, 1961 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
