Canoga Park, California
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Canoga Park, California is a suburb northwest of Los Angeles, located within the San Fernando Valley. The area's zoning was rural/agricultural and its industry was small farms involved in production of fruits, vegetables, melons, some livestock, horses, movie/television studio and stunt location work. The area began to subdivide the ranches after acquiring water from Colorado and became involved in the development of suburban homes and small businesses during the years that the aerospace industry, including Hughes Aircraft, Litton Industries, Atomics International, Teledyne Systems Company, and North American Rockwell moved to the west San Fernando Valley to begin greater production after the Second World War. Much of Canoga Park now is renamed West Hills. Some of the area is still rural; film production, stunt, equine, and feed businesses still exist.
