Catherine Frederica Theresa Jones (born April 6, 1955) is an actress and comedian, also well known as her stage name, Cathy Jones. Her brother is Andy Jones; she was born in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Jones has become a household name in Canadian comedy through her 11 years as one of the stars of "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" and as a founding member of the legendary comedy troupe "CODCO".
She has earned 10 Gemini awards and two Canadian comedy awards for Best Writing In A Comedy Series for her work on 22 Minutes.
Jones is a practicing Buddhist.
