Cauchy-à-la-Tour is a commune of the département of Pas-de-Calais, canton of Auchel, district of Béthune. It belongs to the agglomeration of the Artois which gathers 58 communes, and has a population of 200,000 inhabitants.
Population (1999): 2,891 inhabitants.
Marshal Philippe Pétain was born there on April 24, 1856.
