The Communist Party of Cuba (Spanish: Partido Comunista de Cuba) is the ruling party of Cuba. It dates back to the 1920s historically, w was a member of the Comintern. It was later renamed the People's Socialist Party for electoral reasons.

In spite of joining the revolution against Batista late in 1958, in 1961 the communists' party, together with Fidel Castro's July 26th Revolution Movement and the students' "Revolutionary Directorate" , formed a coalition called the Integrated Revolutionary Organizations. In 1962, this became a single party, the United Party of the Socialist Revolution. This was renamed the Communist Party of Cuba in 1965 and remains the only legal political party in Cuba.
