Computer Associates International, Inc is a computer software and consultancy company. It was founded in New York by Charles B. Wang in 1976, who retired in 2002. As of February 2004, Sanjay Kumar is its CEO and Chairman.
It was the world's third-largest independent software company with approximately 16,000 employees, and a 1999 IndustryWeek 1000 company.
