A Concept car is a car made in prototype form to try out looks and techniques before production. They are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and innovative design. Some have gone into production. One concept car, 1955 Lincoln Futura became the Batmobile. A proportion are driveable. Some are full size wax models.
