Corktown is the center of Irish culture and history in Detroit. Its boundries were defined as, "...anything within a 1 mile radius of the pitcher's mound at Tiger Stadium". Home to the Gaelic League and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Main thouroughfare is Michigan Avenue which is also the site of the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.
