Creative Artists Agency
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is arguably the most important and powerful talent and literary agency in American show business. Headquartered in an John A. Martin-designed building in Beverly Hills, the agency represents a vast array of actors, screenwriters, directors and other "creatives," as well as a variety of "projects," companies and ideas. The agency was founded by the legendarily Machiavellian superagent Michael Ovitz in 1975, and is now headed by his successors and partners, a cabal known as the "Young Turks." Some CAA clients of note are Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks.
