Cutting fluid
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Cutting Fluid is an emulsion of oil and water used for cooling and lubrication of machine tools that shape metals and sometimes other materials. The oil and water are mixed with detergent to form a milky white fluid that takes many days to separate.

Cutting fluid is often pumped to the cutting site in lathes, milling machines, shapers and saws.
