The Mirage V essentially has the same airframe as the Dassault Mirage III except it has a longer nose.
It serves as a fighter-bomber used in the day-time.
It has been phased out of service in the French Air Force but continues to serve in the Air Forces of Argentina, Chile, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Gabon, Libya, Pakistan, Peru, and the United Arab Emirates.
