David Davis (March 9, 1815 - June 26, 1886) was a United States Senator from Illinois.
From 1862 to 1877 he was an associate justice of the Supreme Court. In 1877 he retired from the Supreme Court and was elected to the senate. Davis retired from the senate 1883.
