Dr Denis MacShane (born May 21, 1948) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He is Labour member of Parliament for Rotherham, and the the Minister of State for Europe at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He first entered Parliament after a 1994 by-election caused by the death of Jimmy Boyce.
