Desert Air Force

The Desert Air Force (DAF) was a Royal Air Force formation. It was formed in the Middle East to support Eighth Army in its campaigns during World War II. It provided support to that force right up until the end of the war, fighting through Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sicily and Italy.
