Diana is the name of one of the feline characters in the Japanese anime series Sailor Moon. She is purplish-grey, and is the daughter of the two other central feline characters, Luna and Artemis.
Just as her parents were guides to some of the central characters (Luna -- Sailor Moon; Artemis -- Sailor Venus) Diana also acts as a guide to young Rini (Sailor Chibi Moon).
In Roman Mythology, Diana is the equivalent of the Greek Goddess Artemis, a moon goddess and goddess of wild animals.
