Šakovica or Djakovica (Ђаковица; in Albanian Gjakovė or Gjakova) is a city located in Kosovo and Metohia, a province of Serbia and Montenegro at 42.39° North, 20.43° East. Its name stems from word "Schoolboy's" in Serbian. In 2003 the city had a total population of 76,500.
