In Greek mythology, Doris ("bountiful") was a Oceanid, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys. She was married to Nereus and their fifty daughters were called the Nereids.


Geographically and historically, Doris was the region in central Greece in which the Dorians had their traditional homeland.
