Douglas D. Osheroff

Douglas Dean Osheroff is a American physicist. He won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1996 for his discovery of superfluidity in 3He. The discovery was done in 1971 while Osheroff was a student at Cornell. He now teaches at Stanford University.
