Earl of Liverpool

The title of Earl of Liverpool has been created twice in British history. The first time was in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1796 for Charles Jenkinson, 1st Baron Hawkesbury, a favorite of King George III. This title became extinct in 1851. The title was regranted in 1905 to the 3rd Earl of the 1st creation's grandson.

The present Earl bears the subsidiary titles of Viscount Hawkesbury (1905) and Baron Hawkesbury (1893).
