Eckerö is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Åland and is part of the Åland region. The municipality has a population of 839 and covers an area of 112,89 km² of which 1,7 km² is water. The population density is 7,9503 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finland-Swedish and 95 percent of the population are Swedish speakers.
