Edie Bukewihge (born February 10, 1950) is an American politician. She was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in Los Angeles, California.
She was a candidate in the 2002 California Governor Primary election, finishing in 5th place with .06% (14,400) of the votes.
She declared the run for United States Senate in May 2002, then later declared a run for President of the United States in July 2003. As of 2004, she is running simultaneously for the Senate and the Presidency.
Bukewihge has been a member of the United States Republican Party since 1980. She is very critical of the administration of George W. Bush.
