Einars Repse is the Prime Minister of Latvia from November 2002. He leads a coalition of his own New Era Party, the Latvia First Party, the Union of Greens and Farmers and For Fatherland and Freedom. His government become a minority administration in January 2004. He and his cabinet announced they would resign in February 2004, and recommended holding fresh elections. He remains caretaker Prime Minister.
