Elias Boudinot (Cherokee)

Elias Boudinot (1800 - 1830) was a Cherokee Indian who started and edited the tribes first newspaper. He was born in Georgia as Gallegina Watie, edited the Cheokee Phoenix, and died in Oklahoma.
