Export Credits Guarantee Department

The Export Credits Guarantee Department is a department of the Government of the United Kingdom. It provides 'export credits guarantees' to industry - it underwrites that the countries they are selling to will be able to pay. It reports to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.
