The name "Fearow" originates from "Fear" because Fearow is supposed to be feared, and "Spearow", which is who Fearow evolves from.
Unlike Spearow, Fearow has very large wings, which means Fearow can stay aloft for a very long time, without ever landing to rest. Whenever it senses danger, it flies high and away. When it wants to strike it's prey, it will plummet towards it and try to catch it. Name Origin
