Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Aiport is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is nearby Hollywood, Florida. It takes some traffic from Miami, Florida as well. It has the IATA Airport Code FLL.
The airport has been used by filmakers as a location shot numerous times, the most famous of these being scenes from Revenge of the Nerds II.
On the morning of August 2, 1985, Delta Air Lines Flight 191, on a Fort Lauderdale-Dallas-Los Angeles route, crashed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, killing 136 of the 167 passengers on board.
