Ghost in the Machine is The Police's fourth album, released in October 1981. Material in this album was inspired by the writings of Arthur Koestler. The cover art for Ghost in the Machine features an LED graphic which represents the three band members (from left to right, Andy Summers, Sting, Stewart Copeland).
