Glasgow International Airport, located in Glasgow, is the largest international airport in Scotland, and number 5 in the UK. Its IATA Airport Code is GLA.

Glasgow Airport is owned by BAA plc, the company that also owns London Heathrow Airport, London Gatwick Airport, London Stansted Airport, Edinburgh International Airport, Aberdeen Airport and Southampton Airport.

The Scottish Executive announced in 2002 that a rail link from Glasgow Central would extent out to Glasgow Airport. Currently, there is a regular bus service between the airport, Glasgow City Centre and nearby Paisley Gilmour Street Railway Station.
