GnuCash is an open source, dual entry accounting based, personal finance system, initially aimed at developing capabilities similar to Quicken. Current development is more closely aligned to developing features for small business.
Gnucash runs on the GNOME desktop, under Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and other UNIX-like platforms.
