Golcar is a hill town in the county of West Yorkshire, England, to the west of Huddersfield, and north of the River Colne and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
Golcar's main industry was wool weaving, and an old weaver's cottage has been turned into the Colne Valley Museum. The exhibits include a handloom and a Spinning Jenny, invented by James Hargreaves.
