Hasselblad is a Swedish manufacturer of high-quality still photography cameras. Introduced in 1948, the Hasselblad camera was a medium format SLR that became the camera of choice for many professional photographers.
The cameras are still widely used for some forms of professional photography, particularly studio work.
Hasselblad does not manufacture digital backs for its cameras, but many other manufacturers produce them for its cameras.
