Hengelo (population: 8,537) is a town in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The municipality covers an area of 49.26 km².
The municipality of Hengelo also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Bekveld, Dunsborg, Gooi, Keijenborg, Noordink, Varssel, Veldhoek.
