Henri Charrière

Henri Charrière went to Devil's Island wrongfully accused of murder; he was in fact a safe cracker who was accused of murdering a pimp. When he got to Devil's Island the system was brutal and he made many attempts to escape. He eventually got away after about 14 attempts.
