Herman Wrangel

Herman Wrangel (1584 or 1587-1643) was a Swedish soldier and politician of Baltic German extraction, beeing appointed Field Marshal in 1621, Privy Councilor in 1630, and Governor General of Livonia in 1643. He was also the father of Carl Gustaf Wrangel.
